Lecture by Roger Culbertson and Ellen Rubin

On October 7, 2014, the Bienes Museum of the Modern Book at Broward County's Main Library hosted lectures by popup book experts Robert Culbertson and Ellen G.K. Rubin. The occasion was the 100th birthday party for Vojtěc Kubašta.

The Amazing Vojtěch Kubašta: A Showcase of His Pop-up and Illustrated Children's Books will be on display from July 18, 2014 to January 16, 2015 at the Bienes Museum of the Modern Book, located at the Broward County Main Library, 6th Floor, 100 S. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. Open all library hours. Over 100 of his pieces are displayed, ranging from fairy tales to books on counting, history, circus, technology and animals.
